Artist Bio

I’m Steph, the artist and creator of CinchMade.

I am a wife, mama of two girls (and pup), a registered dental hygienist, fiber artist, and business owner/entrepreneur. I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and have been lucky enough to live all throughout the country over the past decade. Currently CM is located in Yuma, AZ.

I had a feeling for many years that I was meant to do more. So, in March of 2020, I came across an image of a macrame piece I loved and started playing with the idea of making it myself. I went for it, and loved it. So, I started creating more art with fiber cord! I started out making pieces for my home and those close to me, and then with encouragement and support from loved ones I started CinchMade!

I opened my online shop in October 2020. I then took on the market world as a vendor. My love for art has always been a big part of who I am. I’ve enjoyed creating things and working with my hands ever since I was a little girl. CM been the best opportunity and outlet for me personally. It’s my moment of peace and the thing in this world that is truly all me as an individual.

Thank you to those that have been supporting CM over the years. Meeting everyone at markets and popups (shout out to all my returning customers), all of the online orders and custom orders I’ve had the honor of creating, I’m so appreciative of all of it. I’ve built friendships that without CinchMade would have otherwise been missed, and for that I’m grateful.

That being said, this has been one of the greatest seasons of my life. I appreciate your interest and support more than you know. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
